Organiser Bernard Walker devised an excellent handicapping system for the Relay Championships. Participants simply entered in their preferred distance - Long, Middle or Short. Then Bernard looked at kilometre rates over the season to create relatively even teams in all three categories. This resulted in wildly changing overall places as the competition unfolded and in the end, close and totally unexpected results!
