Juniors Orienteering School Holiday Training Camp: 16th- 19th April 2015.
St Helens District High School – St Helens Area
Manager - Gayle West
Mike Dowling
Mark West
Approx : 24 Juniors
If you are a junior who attends grade 7 and onwards, you are invited to attend our junior orienteering camp to be held during the school holidays in the St Helens area from the 16th- 19th April. Come and join us for four days of fun, technical training and social activities. Approximate cost for camp will be $100-$120 for the four days.
Newcomers and beginners are more than welcome to attend. The aim of the camp is to build up your confidence in the real bush. And for the more experienced orienteers, we are aiming to extend your skill levels and fitness.
All people attending the camp will need to be Orienteering Tasmania full members. This is to ensure that the camp is fully covered for insurance and indemnity purposes. You will quickly recover the costs of membership ($25 per junior) as Orienteering Tasmania is subsidising the cost of the camp by $50 per person. Basically instead of paying $150 to attend the camp, you only pay $100 to attend – and all of your future events are cheaper.
