Where? Parking will be along Quarry Rd, at the gate into Waverley Park (we had a training there before Christmas last year).

What to expect?
You will get a map of the course and a sheet on which only the course is printed (without the map). You will have 3min time to draw all the features you need to find the controls on your white sheet (which than will be your map) – ideally you will just have drawn the most important features and thus be forced to simplify a lot!
To get a bit of normal map-work as well we will end the training with a tricky microsprint.
Focus on:
- Get confident with a highly simplified map – it actually works!
- Use your compass at all times
- Speed up during the microsprint
- Have fun
