Great weather at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens Spring Fest last weekend brought out the crowds. It helped swell the finishing numbers at the Orienteering event to over 500. Thanks to Thomas, Julia and Hermione Powell-Davis, Jane and Peter Cusick, Wendy Andrewartha, Elizabeth Bicevskis, Mike and Jane Calder, and our visiting coach in residence, Christoph Prunsche for helping out. Mike and Christoph were interviewed on ABC Radio who were broadcasting from the Gardens. There were lost of smiles on young faces and parents’ faces after their orienteering runs. A few were not satisfied with just one run! And some of the young faces will be seen at the upcoming Spring Twilight Series.
