This fun event on a seldom-used map is a warm-up for the serious competition later in the weekend.

The courses will cover the streets and hilltop council reserves of Coles Bay, the coastal conservation area and beaches that circle the township, and the Iluka accommodation complex.

It will be hard to concentrate on the courses because the scenery is so spectacular.  This will be a great event for families with young children.  You could use the courses as a guided walk and treasure hunt, or as a serious run.  After you finish, have a picnic lunch on the beach.  There is time for more exploration of the National Park or other attractions of the area before the Night Sprint and dinner that evening
