We welcome the appointment of Anthony Darr to the position of Sporting Schools Administrator. Anthony’s role will be to prepare us to implement the federal government’s Sporting Schools program. Initially he will be developing packages of orienteering experiences which we can sell to primary schools and publicising them on the appropriate websites. Shortly Anthony will be looking for people to help implement these packages by mapping schools and delivering orienteering experiences to primary school children. These will be paid positions.
Anthony is well qualified for the position. He worked as an administrator for Orienteering NSW for three years, where some of his duties were management and maintenance of their website, maintenance of the membership database and a coordinating role for the clubs
