The 2015 Southern Saturday afternoon series kicks off this coming weekend with a great event at the UTASSandyBay campus. This year Saturday events will have traditional LONG, MEDIUM and SHORT courses plus an “any 10 controls” course for those wishing to do a scatter. While a couple of past events have used parts of the new UTAS map, this is the first event wholly located within the University grounds. And it’s guaranteed competitors will visit parts of the University they never even knew existed (well on Long and Medium anyway)!
No pre-registration required – just turn up at the start located in the main carpark off Churchill Avenue. There are 6 events in the Winter Saturday Series and you can enter them individually or take out a discounted series entry. Registration and first starts from 2.00 pm, last starts 3.30 pm.
