To enter, please download the 'Eventor Entry Guide' which quickly walks you through how to enter yourself and your family. Families who create a single invoice, will pick up the family discount. Entries close on Tuesday 28th April so please enter ASAP in Eventor.
Please note that casual members need to pay 'a casual entry fee adjustment' by selecting it from 'Services' in Eventor. Sportident hire and concession discounts for adult members are also available under 'Services'.

5. About This Event
The event series for the orienteering enthusiast whether experienced or just starting out. There are lots of different course options to cater for all levels of ability, from the easy to the challenging. It offers a wonderful way to get out into the Tasmanian countryside and enjoy the diverse environments of our state.
It is the third of three selection events for athletes who are aiming for State Team selection. Selectors will nominate a team of up to three in each age group from M/W 14 to M/W80 for the Australian Championships, being held in Victoria in September/October
6. Where Is The Start Area?
On privately owned farm land 10k NE Campania. Turn east off Broadmarsh Road onto Brown Mountain Road 3k north of Campania. Drive for 6k then turn left onto Springvale Road. Drive 4k to the farm gate at the end of Springvale Road. Drive a further 1k along a farm track to the parking area. There may be 3 gates to open (and close) depending on where sheep are located at the time. The start is approx. 5min walk from the parking area. For those with a love of navigation toys: the coordinates of the farm gate are 42deg 35min 22sec South, 147deg 27min 19sec East

From 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Course Closure is at 2:00 pm

9. What Timing Method Will Be Used?
Electronic timing will be used – bring your own P-card or SI-stick if possible. Those without a P-card or SI-stick can hire one on the day.
10. How Much Does It Cost To Enter?
$13 adults, $8 juniors (under 21) and concession holders.

Pre-entry via Eventor is requested to ensure map availability and to assist organisers.

13. Any Food, Entertainment, Coaching or Other Special Attractions?
After your run there will be a BBQ and light refreshments provided by the junior orienteers.

15. What Else Do I Need To Know?
All participants in events conducted by Orienteering Tasmania and its affiliated clubs are required to register. There are two categories of registration, either as a full member or as a casual member. Further details are available on our About Membership page.
As Orienteering Tasmania events are often conducted on private property we have blanket policy of not permitting dogs at our events. Please leave your dog at home if going orienteering.
