Danish orienteer, Henrik Knudsen has indicated that the next training session will not be at Calvert's Beach as advertised. This session will now take place in Waverly Park on the Eastern Shore. The session starts at 5pm and the controls will start being collected from 7pm. There will be 2 different courses: 5.5k & 3.3k with 28 & 20 controls respectively.
The session starts from the parking area around a silo in the middle of the map which is in the end of Aruma St at Mornington. From Cambridge Road drive up either Dennya St or Binalong Rd and then into Dilali St to Aruma St.
The courses have lots of controls so there will be a map change during the race.
It is important you enter with your name and which course you want to run. Latest Monday 1/12. I’ll print some extra maps so if you haven’t entered you can show up but I don’t guarantee that all kind of courses will be available.
The training is the same date as the monthly Australopers meeting but Waverly Park is literally 500 meter from the Butler’s home so it fits perfect with a run before the meeting which starts 7.30pm
