For many months Orienteering Tasmania has been working side by side with SOS (Save Our Spit) to try to preserve access to the spit for runners, walkers and horse riders. At last week's Planning Commission Hearing, OT and SOS both presented submissions with expert witnesses opposing the mega development of 200 houses and multiple golf courses. SOS hired a planner to assist them present their case which helped us all. They still have a shortfall in their funding and have launched another 'Save Seven Mile Beach Wine drive'.
